Lexi had a birthday!
We had all of John's family over for dinner and the little party. She also had a small party with a few friends (I apparently didn't take pictures of anyone). We love this girl!

The girls got another gift a few days after their birthdays. Lexi was just a little excited about getting more Signing time DVDs. Notice her jumping for joy in the background.

Lexi's fall

Before

After

She broke two bones in her right arm on Monday. We have to wait until next week for the cast. I hadn't realized what an impact this would have on her and our family. She won't be doing swimming lessons this summer, she has to get over her fear of showers (I'm going in today to buy a shower head with a hose), I had to buy her a bunch of new shirts (that was fun), and of course, eating/coloring/playing is just going to be different for a while. So far things are going okay and she's been a good sport. She is so excited to get her cast on (the sling bothers her). Anyway, that's our little adventure right now.

New nephew

My sister April took some pictures of last weekend that I wanted to share. It was the first time the girls and I were able to see Clark, my nephew. We had fun with family, the girls had a sleepover with their cousin Savanna, and TC pampered all the girls for mother's day.
Here's the UT weekend:

Kaytlin (I don't remember why she doesn't have a shirt on btw) was so gentle with Clark. She loved to hold him and stroke his cheeks. Lexi kept trying to make him smile, but he's still a little young for that.

Speaking of Lexi, she broke her arm yesterday on my parents' trampoline. Poor girl, she will get a cast on next week and will probably have it for 6-8 weeks. She's been super tough, only cried for a little while and was so patient with waiting for doctors, etc. Last night was rough so was getting her dressed. It was a good excuse to buy her a bunch of new clothes today. :)
Marisha (my sis) painted all the niece's finger and toe nails.
Even the kids "helped" out on Mother's Day!

I love to see...

The Temple!
When you stand here
you can see this

and this

It is so nice to be close to the temples!
John started the cruise season off in Skagway and the girls and I came "down south" to help my parents with yardwork. We took a short trip to Utah to visit my new nephew (so cute!). My good friends were getting sealed to their adopted daughter in Idaho Falls, so we detoured over there so I could attend that. What a wonderful experience! I love the temple!
PS: more on the trip later
