Garden box and trip "down south"

We went to Utah and Idaho the last half of April for John's brother's wedding.  I took the kids a week before John could come and my family got together, then we had a week with all of John's family.  We had a  great time seeing so many family members and doing fun things.  And the weather was great too!!

 Extreme sports place - trampolines, trapeze, climbing wall etc, with foam pits to land/fall in.  So fun!

My handyman hubby made me a garden box (out of pallets he saved for me).  The kids helped me plant stuff, but their favorite part was the slug hunt after dinner!  (The white stuff is eggs shells to keep slugs away)

I'm feeling birthdayed out!

I feel so behind in posts.  Lexi had a good birthday last month.  I can't believe she's already 6!  

She's still into art so her dad built her a little portable art station.  She was so excited and she and her sister have put it to a lot of use.  They both got some art supplies and I'm so glad there's a good stop to keep it all.

I got the idea for her cupcakes on pinterest.  They're icecream cake ones that were a big hit!
